Displaying Infromation

I collated my research into this video in order to best connect the studies undertaken. I linked the typologies I have been studying together into the site with relation to physical objects which fill the space and added sound to experiment with the typologies in context and the effects these would have on the surrounding area.


This video was inspired by the effects of surround sound and research into 5.1 Surround Sound Dubbing and trials conducted on the surrounding area of HS2.

SHORT ANIMATION

Sound and Environment

We rarely see the full capacity of the spaces we inhabit. This visualisation of the sound combined with the physical boundaries of the space acts as a study of the interior with reference to the information constantly in flux within the space.

FINAL CUT

The final cut combines the sound, typologies and shell to give the viewer a feeling of what it could mean to fulfil this space with these typologies. Quantifying the research so far from the library to archive to data centre and marketplace.

DATA ACQUISITION

Acquiring data is a key part of Exploring Data. Secretly recording on two screens displaying the outcome for Data Market research W.I.P
I could then acquiree information about the more interesting parts of the research and the parts that users interacted with most.
Blurring the camera to respect viewers. Whilst highlighting key issues in surveillance tech and data acquisition.
