Questioning your surroundings
IMPORTANT CONVERSATIONS
In order to conduct thorough research and engage with the community, building firms as well as the context of the research itself it became a key part of my research speaking to locals, Clyde Gateway and artist Mick Peters from Glasgow International to conduct proper site analysis

MICK PETERS

AMY WIMPENNY
Artist
Mick spoke of the refurbishment of the site and the importance of engaging the community in his works. He told me about the landscaping of the site and how the soil was so polluted they had to dig it up. Te site had been held by GI and the artist collaboration helped facilitate its refirbish
Clyde Gateway
Amy let me see images from the proposed plans for the site. She Told me Clyde Gateway basically own most of Dalmarnock. Only through conversation with her was I able to learn that the site was no longer A listed rather it was conditioned that they couldn't divert too far from the original shed.

LOCAL COMMUNITY
Legacy HUB
Speaking got the community became vital. By accessing the local community Facebook page I found this meeting for new housing going up. Overall the people seem to wish for amenities as the local Tesco is expensive and far from some homes and the local pubs have mostly been shut down.
