Every day goods are transported from all over the world. This creates a carbon footprint as well as a system that is unsustainable. The physical transportation of these good is exemplary in terms of what is to come from data transportation. Signals produced by data are transported from A-B through wires and cables yet we rarely stop to think about the effects this has on our physical environments. This video of produce being transported from USA-Worldwide aims to highlight this and allow users to consider what the physical impact of data sharing might be if we where to consider it in the same way as easily recognisable goods.
